Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Screaming out and falling completely disarmed in the well ending Roch 2, diving into a nasty cave infested by slimers, taking a rather strange lift, killing an unfortunate tripbomb-trapped trooper and finally, going out in the city... Hey! Looking on your left, you recognise the plaza of Roch 2 behind the police line you still can't cross, and straight ahead, under your favourite blue sky, it’s Roch 3! Indeed, Roch 3 is the direct sequel of Roch 2 and once again you'll have to make it clear to those alien bastards that the ROCH city is yours, and not theirs!
Pascal built up this map through the foundations of the still growing ROCH style: nice elaborate facades, realistic architectures and cool detailed interiors. You’ll visit a nice Hi-Fi store, a motel, a well-designed railroad station and several residences, disturbing on your way a human/monster mixed party. Have a look to the industrial river bank, but beware of the helicopter landing in front of you and delivering your usual boorish piggies or else you may quickly become history!
The gameplay sounds a bit tough at the beginning of this map, as much due to the little ammunition you begin with, as a funny effect which makes the monsters awaken and overstimulated within the city before you’ve ever been spotted. Thereby, it could be first useful first to get a glimpse of and reach some of the 10 secret places to get additional weapons. Once you’ve defeated this first terrific alien wave, the action is top-notch, intenseness increasing throughout your way, and always served by a fairly balanced Goodies/Baddies ratio. You’ll be encountering each class of alien, and defeating it with the weapon of your choice, because they’re all available.
Other fine stuffs are scattered within this map : you'll note the famous billboard, ruled here by a new interesting animation, a new splendid car and also a lot of funny details, like this rather strange big clock on the pavement, this nice familial mini golf course set in an house, or even all the ironical words Pascal wrote in the forbidden places, still to be discovered.
Therefore, don’t wait for fighting your way to the download button!
