What was once destined to be a Total Conversion for Duke fell miserably short and is probably now best classed as an episode, albeit with only four single player levels (and the subsequent inclusion of 3 finished DM maps, 1 unfinished DM and 1 unfinished SP). Still, these four finished SP levels are among the best you may well ever play, each with unique design, stunning gameplay and more challenging than balancing a tin of pot noodles on the end of your nose (or eating one without retching). Quite a few textures have been nicked from various other places, but they fit the theme well - strange how it works like that. Continuity between levels is virtually non-existent and you'll have to load up each map individually to play it but it's more than worth the trouble you'll go to.
It's not your basic run in, find your keys, run out and try to avoid getting killed a bit - there's a couple of good puzzles which are well integrated into the design of the maps. There's not really any new innovations, the levels appear to be largely BobSP inspired but the author's own touch is very apparent as well. A couple of minor drawbacks are the occasional oversizing of Duke's surrounds and the severe lack of health in some places, but bad points aside it's a solid play and a grand addition to the Repository.
Score based on SP levels only, as per original review.

This is a collection of finished and unfinished usermaps for the cancelled command&conquer tc. map01: sp, finished Started off as a usermap, later got converted to fit the tc. map02: sp, finished Using the same style as the first map, only this time it's been made with the c&ctc in mind. map03: sp, finished Awesome little undetailed map, partly inspired by Metal Gear Solid (the cave segment). map04: dm, finished A deathmatch map in a tower, with three floors. map05: ??, unfinished Unfinished dm maps in the woods. map06: dm, finished Remake from a playstation quake2 dm map. map07: dm, finished Tried to use the same style as map04. map08: sp, finished The map that inspired me to build fbsp001 later on - high detail but kindof unfair puzzles. map09: sp, unfinished Inspired by Medal of Honor 1 on the playstation. - Geoffrey
