The aliens have taken over an island base and it's up to Duke to kick their asses out of paradise.

A medium sized map with a fairly decent design and a simple layout. Considering that this is a community project, the majority of the map is well tied in and nicely done. The transition from island to base to alien-styled base and back to regular base is smooth. The shading, detailing, sprite work, and texture choices for the most part are well done and thought out. There's also some nice architecture and good special effects such as; the volcano, the explosions, and shaking ground all of which create a sense of urgency and enhance the atmosphere.

Game play can be a bit on the difficult side. Although Duke is well armed after exploring about a bit and there are only a few instances of being swarmed by numerous aliens, the lack of available health kits will take its toll. There are only a few locations to get health so if you try running headlong into combat, you won’t last very long. Ammunition is also at a premium, so make every shot count because you'll need every round you can get a hold of for what awaits you at the end of your journey. There are a few keys to be found (look closely for the yellow key because it's not just laying on the floor) and there’s a serious button puzzle to figure out, but the theme is mainly to survive to reach the end and kill your friendly neighborhood big boss that’s guarding the heli-pad and preventing you from making your escape. I don’t know if the author of the alien styled area intended this or not, but the map can be finished without making it all the way to the end by killing the first large boss encountered.

Description		:  I came up with the idea of starting a new CBP on the DN-R forums :P
			   It was just a suggestion but then it turned into a serious project,
			   then it got totally unserious again when Ed joined :P Its based on an
			   island with some kinda base on it and a huge volcano :P

Description : I was the CBP leader :P I built the beach and the forest where you
start.
I'm used to build mostly city maps and it was cool to work on something different. I
used more
walls than I was supposed to, so I decided to build walls out of sprites but then I
ran outta sprites
lol :P And I had to forget about some cool ideas (like I'm always forced to) but I
don't think
my part look that bad. Enjoy :)

Description: I made that small gray facility near the beach in the beginning where
you'll get
the blue key. I liked the idea that I could mix some outdoor stuff to hi-tech -
that's why I
made the small section with some canyons in it. Everything's pretty gray and I like
the way it
looks (a bit "RUIN"ish). I'd have liked to build more & add details but I ran out of
sectors.

I've made the last part, you'll have to get to the roof where you'll encounter some
heavy
enemies. Prepare for some nice effects and a big fight. I finished the map today,
when it's
released so it's fresh and still hot - enjoy!
