An old one but still retaining its gameplay and fun factor, Island Fortress is based on exactly that - it's playable as both SP and DM. There's no puzzles as such - you've simply got to kill a bunch of guys, spawn an end-boss and kick his butt - all in a serene, friendly environment with nice views, rolling countrysides and the occasional blood splattering. Take a look at this old piece of nosh!
