An old one but still retaining its gameplay and fun factor, Island Fortress is based on exactly that - it's playable as both SP and DM. There's no puzzles as such - you've simply got to kill a bunch of guys, spawn an end-boss and kick his butt - all in a serene, friendly environment with nice views, rolling countrysides and the occasional blood splattering. Take a look at this old piece of nosh!

Misc. Author Info : I have created levels for Doom 1 & 2,
Wolfenstien (yes, wolf3d! heh) Duke3D
and started creating for Quake... but
prefer Duke3D. ;)
Description : This level is set on an Island in the
middle of nowhere, Duke has finally
found a remote location where he can
rest.. or so he thought... the island
is occupied and the residence is far
too familiar, they'll have to be
evicted (forcibly) before Duke can
rest.
Additional Credits to : - Kirk Wilson for ideas and many hours
of testing and kicking butt! :)
- 3DRealms for creating the BEST 3D game
out there... you have a good engine here
don't throw it away for ANOTHER.
(I can't wait to get Shadow Warrior and
start editing on it! Eat your heart out
Quake, Shadow Warrior is FAR supperior!)
