A rather professionally designed hospital themed map with great attention to detail, some smashingly good new art and enough monsters to satiate any bloodlust you've got boiling away. It's a multi-levelled complex with a cafeteria, surgery rooms and a few doctor's offices (doctors? in a hospital?) - pretty much everything you'd expect to find in such a place. Gameplay is fairly fluid, it's your mission to find a few keys scattered about the place to eventually reach the helicopter on top of the building - it's pretty straightforward and seldom do you find yourself running about with no place to go next. Ammo/monster ratios are just right and there's enough health about to alleviate any cross-fire mishaps. Take a gander at this one!

So you can reach the exit. Description : It's a simple Hospital-themed map. I tried to make it detailed even if you're mainly running to halls from stairs to lifts to halls and so on. This map is kinda large so you may lose yourself (don't worry, it's not that large anyway). Levels by this Author : Wow... so many, I can't count them (and it's far too so I don't remember). I also made maps for Blood, Shadow Warrior, Quake, Half-Life, Quake3. But I never released any. Additional notes : I haven't build maps for years but I finally decided to make this one because I discovered that there was still a lot of Duke Nukem 3D fans (no really, I thought I was the last fan standing on this planet :) ). It's my first release because I keep thinking I could change or add a few things, then some other and so on… so I easily spend days to adjust a texture… then I realize "ho man, I'd never give my maps away, I would be disappointed later"… gees. Thank you for ready. =========================================================================== * Play Information * Loading : There are a few files to copy in Duke directory: _StDuke.Map -- Map file Tiles0014.Art -- Textures and Sprites Hbeat.Voc -- Hearth Beat sound Game.Con -- Content Nurse code Defs.Con -- Content Nurse reference -- Content HBeat reference User.Con -- Content HBeat code ** NOTICE ** The Con files are DUKE NUKEM 3D ATOMIC EDITION formated so it will not run with DUKE NUKEM 3D original. Do not install these files if you're playing the original DUKE NUKEM 3D. If you're not planning to kill the Nurse, then you may not install the Con files. Nobody never notice the hearth beat anyway... If you want to run it with Duke3D or Duke Atomic, launch "1-pieceofcake.bat" / "2-letsrock.bat" / "3-comegetsome.bat" or "4-damnimgood.bat" from the DOS Prompt or Windows to load the map in one of the four difficulty setting.
