A giant medieval arena sporting a chic looking castle, some quaint cottages (not of the thatched-roof variety, however) and rolling countryside - if you could describe blocky and amusingly articifial hills as rolling. It's still a kick-arse map, though - there's plenty of locations in which to hunt down, maim and grievously harm your opponents - with a whole bunch of weapons left considerately lying about. Plenty of fun to be had with this one - certainly a classic!

INTRODUCTION:

This has been my first fully-featured level but I think you'll notice in no
time that it's not like those other levs you'll find on the net! Notice the
intense detail, but please take your time and enjoy the lev.
Medieval times took numerous hours to complete (not to mention time
spent adjusting wall textures and shading). Foremost, I would like to mention
that the inspiration to create such a level was a result of Nintendo's current
release of Super Mario 64TM for N64 and Quake for the PC. Unfortunately, this
level is not intended for one player mode and although it is considerably
large many of you will soon find that the level is well suited for multiplayer
gaming. I've added a few monsters in the castle's dungeon so keep in mind
that if you want to add more depth to multiplayer games you should turn on the
monster option. Those of you whom do not own Pentium based computers may not
experience the intensity of a deathmatch, due to choppy frame rates. Keep in
mind you should own a Pentium 90 or greater to play this level. Computers
equipped with a Pentium 90 chip may experience frame rates as low as 12-15 fps
in certain locations. Anyhow, enough with the big talk. I've implemented
some unique secrets into the level to freak out your friends but don't blow
your cover. Don't tell them at first!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECRETS:

1) The small house enclosed by a fence outside cannot be entered through the
front door. However, you can enter by falling down the chimney. Remember to
equip yourself with a jetpack because after you enter there is no other way
out. Otherwise, if you forgot the jet pack you might as well murder your ass
in the fireplace. If you blow up the frame hanging on a wall within the house
you'll discover a holoduke.

2) Upon entering the second floor of the castle you will discover a small
fireplace. Equip yourself with a jetpack, quickly walk into the fire, and then
fly up towards the top of the ceiling. There you will find the devastator
waiting for you. Secondly, if you take a glance up, just outside the
fireplace, you will notice a chandelier hanging. Stand on it, call your
opponent, wait there for him/her and kick ass! The dumb fuck won't know where
the bullets are coming from.

3) Swim underwater and look for a passage leading up into the core of the
island. Inside this small air pocket you will find a shotgun and some ammo.
Look above these items to the side and you will notice a gray bar crossing
over the corner of the ceiling. If you're the type that loves to cheat
someone at least once you'll love this one. Jump up to the bar and press the
spacebar. This will trick the other player into thinking that you are firing
a shotgun elsewhere. The switch causes a shotgun sound to activate in the
dungeon.
