Hydrofusion Substation is, unsurprisingly enough, a jaunt through a hydrofusion substation, which is brilliant since the solution to the world's energy crisis should therefore be revealed by close examination of the mini-map. This level is pretty much as detailed as you could get with the old limits; it's quite sector hungry but this doesn't detract too much from the length of the level - there's a good 15 minutes or so playing time here.
Design and layout are pretty top-notch, the map is loaded with effects, great looking spritework and other various eye candy. The truck at the beginning is a nice touch and sets the pace for the rest of the level. You can't run into it all guns a-blazing either - ammo is scarce so you'll need to conserve it. There's a few caches containing a bit more firepower hidden away about the place - seeking these out may be wise. Gameplay is pretty standard, find some keys, unlock a few doors and advance to the next section - not that there's anything terribly wrong with this since you do have fun along the way.
If you use EDuke32 in 32 bit polymost mode be sure to grab the latest snapshot, otherwise sky glitches may occur.
Technical note aside - a must-play for any serious Duker. Get into it.

Description : A hydrofusion sub station! at the duke´s birthday!
Level information : Is a remake of a level what i start to make for helping maplord
with his mars!3 but i never send it to him because i suppost that no like to him!
anyway i put in ti some details that remember my very first level, that one that i
losted at an old machine! for that two reasons this level could to be called Mars!3c
or Action, but i put Hydro... because is a poster in duke art with the same name.
