Map Name: Battlefield 3
Author: Cedric Haegeman (Sang)
Released: 12th October 2005
Rating: 90

Review by Kim Robinson on 3rd August 2007

The latest installment in the Battlefield series, Battlefield 3 makes it's appearance at last on the Repository, making it one of the most noteworthy releases of the current times. The winning factor in wonder resides in it's size, being segmented into three huge monster-filled levels with rich architecture (another shining factor) and amusing detail, probably sucking your mind for real into the game. Some technical problems leads this bundle of maps to be quite near-unplayable on JonoF's port because of spontaneous crashes as a consecuence of a tremendous overflood of monsters. Challenging, but fun in any sense to keep the seasoned duker wishing for more of this. Not to be missed by anyone!

BATTLEFIELD 3!

Description:
So here's the third map in my BattleField series (based on Serious Sam, obviously)
and this one is bigger and prettier then
the other ones. Because of the build board being what it is, I had to split up the
map in 3 different parts. If you review
it, do review it as a hole and not as three seperate maps. I just gave the second map
a different look for the sake of
variety.

Also, this map does push build quite close to it's limits in terms of stability. At
times it might crash (esp. in Map 2) so
save often. I understand that this might be a little frustrating, but if I would fix
these errors I would get a map that is
completely different then what I would want to build. I found that it tends to crash
when looking at the sky, so don't.
Save often.

The map should take you somewhere near 2 hours.
What else can I say..oh, yeah, in total the map has over 2000 enemies.
